January is a busy month, so here it is in lightly annotated form.

I’m very happy to be doing two performances of my orchestral song cycle Crane Palimpsest with the Alabama Symphony, the second of which headlines the Alabama Music Educators Association Conference, where I’ll also be giving the keynote address.

January 14 - Joe’s Pub - duo with Rob Moose • New York, NY

Rob and I, fresh off of our tour of the West Coast, have been polishing up our duo vibes. We’ll be doing songs from Where are the Arms, February House, and maybe a Randy Newman or Charles Ives song here or there. This is gonna be my only New York club appearance for a while.
